Centerville Fish & Steak’s menu is built for hearty appetites and Southern comfort cravings. I started with the cheese sticks-golden, stretchy, and just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The spicy mac n cheese bites pack a creamy, peppery punch that sneaks up after a few seconds, and the chicken strips are big, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned-not your typical side, more like a main in disguise.
The Chicken and Chops section brings solid Southern staples. The grilled chicken breast is juicy and flame-kissed with a smoky finish. Chicken livers are bold, with that old-school soul food richness. But the classic chicken strips again steal the spotlight-tender on the inside, crunchy outside, no dipping sauce required (but they offer them anyway).
Steak lovers have serious choices. The ribeye is the star-generously marbled, full of flavor, and seared to order. The Steak for Two is no joke: 20 ounces of perfectly cooked beef made for sharing but hard to part with. And the 8 oz. New York Strip? Leaner, firmer, with a satisfying char and savory bite.
Each dish feels like a deliberate, satisfying Southern experience-not overly fancy, but executed with care and flavor-forward.
